Lot #1 – 22,000 square foot manufacturing facility owned by Pre-Tech Plastics from Williston, VT. Pre-Tech Plastics was founded in 1985, and since then, has grown to an ISO 9001:2008 and AS9001: 2009 certified company with manufacturing facilities in Williston, Vermont, and also at the Moriah Business Park. Pre-Tech Plastics employs state-of-art, computerized precision machinery to produce custom-made, close-tolerance components used in biomedical, environmental, aerospace, and the semiconductor industries, as well as high-performance, industrial applications.
Lot #2 – 4,598 square foot office building home to the Moriah Health Center operated by Hudson Headwaters Health Network. Built in 2008 the center provides pediatric, adult and family medicine practitioners who provide comprehensive primary health care services.
Lot #4 – 3,200 square foot office building leased to High Peaks Hospice. The building was built as a pilot educational/construction partnership utilizing students from Mineville’s Champlain Valley Technical Education Center (CV-TEC) who assisted local contractors. Lots #3, #5 & #6 – are home to Whistlepig Rye Whiskey. Whistelpig Rye Whiskey was founded in 2007 when Raj Bhakta purchased a 500-acre farm in Shoreham, VT with the idea of transforming the farm into the first ever single malt, one-stop rye shop, with all stages of the process located on site: from growing the grass, to distillation, to barreling and aging, to bottling. In 2017, Whistlepig Rye Whiskey began construction of a multi-phased project at the Moriah Business Park. The company has constructed seven 14,000 square foot buildings which will largely house all of the whiskey produced in Shoreham, VT for aging. In 2019 the company added automated bottling operations at the park.
